Tristan grew up in Tri-Cities, WA, with a passion for travel and storytelling through film. Working with Hide and Seek has been an exciting journey for him, bringing to life challenging narratives with creativity and care. He’s grateful to be part of a team committed to excellence in every story they tell.
The Steady
Tristan and I first worked together years ago at our local church. We weren’t especially close, but we recorded a project together—and neither of us knew that years later, we’d be filming true crime investigations side by side.
Funny enough, he’s actually good friends with Shane, so when we brought him into Season 4, the chemistry was already there. Tristan’s the kind of guy who keeps his cool, reads the room, and never overcomplicates things.
One memory I’ll never forget: we were setting up lighting during our first trip together when gunshots rang out in the distance. The look on his face said it all—he wasn’t used to that kind of environment. But he stuck with it. Got the shot. And never blinked.
