Meet Jessica Henley, a passionate true crime enthusiast. From a young age, Jessica was captivated by the intricacies of criminal psychology and the mysteries that can linger in the shadows of society.
During season 2, Jessica discovered the Hide and Seek podcast and was immediately hooked. The host combined heartfelt storytelling with rigorous investigative research, highlighting the stories of those who had vanished and the families left behind. It resonated deeply with Jessica, sparking an interest within her to contribute to something greater than herself.
Jessica found herself drawn not only to the stories but also to the mission of the podcast: to raise awareness, help families, and ultimately aid in the search for the missing.
Jessica began engaging with the podcast on social media, sharing her thoughts and insights, and connecting with other true crime aficionados. Her enthusiasm caught the attention of James and Sara Jo, who invited her to participate in discussions and contribute her research skills to their efforts.
As a member of the Hide and Seek team, Jessica dedicates her time to a multitude of tasks that help to the aid in the mission of the podcast. She is committed to raising awareness about missing persons cases and hopes to inspire others to join the fight for justice.
The Fixer
Jessica was one of those people who offered help when I didn’t realize how badly I’d need it. At first, I didn’t know if she was serious. Then I learned she and her husband were moving to Washington—and she still wanted in.
She’s been a long-time supporter of Hide and Seek, and now she plays a critical behind-the-scenes role, helping coordinate events, travel, and team communication. She’s freed me up to focus more on the investigation by keeping the logistics locked in.
When things start moving fast, I know Jessica can handle it. She keeps the chaos out of my inbox and lets me keep chasing the truth.
